    Preoperative sagittal T2-weighted (left) and axial T2-weighted (right) magnetic resonance image revealed a right, paracentral disc extrusion at the L5-S1 level (indicated by the white arrow). The disc is contacting the traversing S1 nerve with associated lateral recess stenosis.
